YouTube Videos

I recently started a YouTube channel to add to my written commentary. I’ll post some of the videos here so you can browse.

Is taxing the wealthy more and giving more money to poor people the solution to poverty and the problems that the poor face? Is that premise accurate?

Or are there other factors that are more important, and other solutions that would be more impactful?
People say “Tax the wealthy” as a shorthand for fixing social problems and helping the poor.
But who are “The Wealthy?”

Is a 200k professional “The Wealthy” to be taxed like Wall Street millionaires?
Should a doctor be taxed like a billionaire?
Subtitle: “Especially Successful Ones”

This is a video about why liberals attack successful black conservatives like Ben Carson and Clarence Thomas so viciously, and how their existence and success undermines “The Narrative” that keeps Democrats in power.

Liberals aren’t in the business of empowering black people, but in getting power from black people.
Here I talk about the latest attempt by Democrats to smear Clarence Thomas, how it’s just one part of a years-long campaign to un-seat him from the bench, and how it’s a pattern of racist, dehumanizing language the left always uses against conservative black men and women.

In addition to making my own videos, I’m posting lectures and snippets from intellectuals on topics that I think are deeply profound and important, and perhaps under-reported or not well known.

This is a lecture from Steven Pinker that I attended in 2015 in which he expands upon his discovery/thesis that violence in human societies is on a drastic decline over the last few centuries, and even decades.
This is an absolutely astonishing lecture about Abraham Lincoln, his rise from obscurity to greatness, how he kept the nation together, and how close he came to failing.
